SPECTROSCOPE OPL Maxi

The OPL Diffraction Grating Spectroscope is a larger version of the pocket model, ideal for beginners and teaching.

Used to test transparent coloured gem materials by observing their absorption spectra, this diffraction spectroscope comes with a larger eyepiece to allow for easier observation.

Fixed slit & fixed focus, with a 600 lines per millimetre fine quality diffraction grating. OPL “Teaching” Diffraction Grating Spectroscope are similar to but larger than the Pocket model.

This spectroscope is ideal for laboratory or classroom use. Has been used worldwide for more than 20 years. Reviewed favourably in several international gemmological journals.
